Well first of all I would never assume anything until I knew all of the facts! Thats the problem with people these days they assume so much but never have a clear understanding of the facts. In this case your are asuuming alot for instance that the car was in her fathers name, but you omitted the fact that the 15year old held the key to the box that the cocaine was in ,in her possesion! Then the fact that The father was out of prison means nothing child protective services probaly would not allow the girl to be released but out of all of the facts in this case the poilce made an illegal search and the evidence had to be thrown out. The fact that police procedure was not followed shows a violation of constitutinal rights!!!

Why would it depend on the charges for instance if you had a sister that got arrested for stealing, would you want to help her?

What peeked my curosity was that a 15 year old girl was on trial for transporting cocaine. What was interesting was the fact that her father was the driver of the vehicle and clearly the one that the drugs belonged to, yet he put his daughter in jeapody by 1 having her in the vehicle and 2 having her hold the key to where the drugs were located. The WOW factor is the fact that the father has bonded himself out, but the daughter is still being held until trial.
