Anthony Hamlin, 24, was arrested about 6:24 a.m. after he “became disruptive in the casino” by swearing and arguing, according to Gary Bitner, a spokesman for the Seminole Police Department. Security personnel escorted him to a parking garage where his disruptive behavior continued, Bitner said.
Further details of the incident were not available. Hamlin was later booked in Hillsborough County Jail and released just before noon after posting $250 bail.
Hamlin has been a Tampa police officer since October 2016. He was placed on paid administrative leave while the case is under investigation, police said.
